The University of Missouri’s School of Medicine, , chaired by Dr. Talissa Altes, is expanding and seeking an ABR board certified/board eligible Emergency or General Radiologist to join our Emergency Radiology Division. The successful candidate will primarily read diagnostic imaging exams and over read diagnostic radiology residents. The emphasis is on emergency, urgent care and in-patients. This position offers a rich variety of plain film, CT, MR, and ultrasound (general, first trimester obstetric and vascular) exams.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading all areas of Emergency Radiology.

  • Responsibilities are:
  • ~90% clinical
  • ~10% Teaching/education
  • Schedule
  • Overnight Shift
  • 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off Sunday - Thursday
  • No Weekends
  • Accommodate working on-site, remotely, or combination of both
  • Full or part-time positions available
  • Equipment is state-of-the-art and includes 2- 3T Siemens MRI scanners and 3 - 1.5T Siemens MRI scanners. 1.5 and 3T GE MRI Scanners. Additional 3T and 7T Siemens MRI scanners are opening in October 2021 at our new NextGen Precision Health imaging facility.

    Qualifications:
  • MD/DO
  • ABR board certified or board eligible Emergency/General Radiologist
  • For the purposes of this application, board-certified/board-eligible physicians are considered experienced.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fellowship in Emergency, Body and/or Neuro Imaging is preferred
