Job description: Account Manager / Reservation Specialist

Syndeo Staffing has direct placement and temp-to-hire opportunities for a few openings as for an Account Manager / Reservation Specialist. As an Account Manager / Reservation Specialist, you will have the responsibility of communicating with vendors to negotiate and oversee customers' emergent and pre-planned travel arrangements. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and managing all aspects of the reservation. The Account Manager / Reservation Specialist should be highly skilled administratively and present with exceptional negotiating and customer service skills.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Utilize reservation system to book hotel rooms for customers accurately and efficiently.
  • Gather all necessary information from customers, including travel dates, preferred hotel amenities, and special requests, ensuring a smooth reservation process.
  • Collaborate with hotel partners to negotiate competitive room rates for customers.
  • Utilize market knowledge and industry trends to secure the best possible rates and value-added benefits for customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with hotel representatives, ensuring effective communication and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Handle last-minute reservation changes, cancellations, and modifications promptly and efficiently.
  • Respond to urgent customer requests, such as room upgrades, special requests, or additional amenities, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with hotels and other relevant parties to fulfill ad-hoc requests and resolve any issues that may arise.
    REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma and/or GED equivalent Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a business office environment
  • Hotel industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computers, with hands-on experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities necessary
    SCHEDULE:
  • Office is open 24/7 to accommodate clientele.
  • Desired shifts available are 3pm - Midnight, overnight and 3rd shift.

Please Note: This position is in-office with no remote working capability.
