As a Commercial Vehicle Driving Adjunct Instructor the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.


• Work with the students and other Commercial Vehicle Driving educational staff to assist students with academic and career plan.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.


• At least three (3) years of full-time tractor-trailer truck driving experience with at least one of the three (3) years within the last 24 months.


• Possess a current State of Florida Class ‘A’ License.


• Possess: Knowledge of and experience with tractor-trailer truck driving principles and applications; Clean & safe driving record; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to keep accurate & thorough records Skilled in organization of tasks and responsive follow-through; Prior history of commercial vehicle instruction/training preferred.

In addition to the minimum qualifications listed for the positions, applicants must be able to work in any clinical settings. All prospective faculty are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics:
