About the position

The Healthcare Data Analyst / Quality and Safety Improvement Consultant III plays a crucial role in supporting Quality and Safety programs within the integrated health care delivery system. This position involves providing administrative, facilitation, and technical support to enhance quality improvement initiatives, monitor performance indicators, and ensure compliance with regulations. The analyst collaborates with various departments to analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to a culture of safety and quality in healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities
• Provide administrative, facilitation, and technical support for Quality and Safety programs.

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives and performance indicators.
,
• Conduct data extraction and analysis to support quality improvement efforts.
,
• Assist in the development of corrective action plans for identified areas of improvement.
,
• Facilitate the development of quality improvement initiatives and stakeholder capabilities.
,
• Serve as a subject matter expert for quality improvement processes and regulations.
,
• Coordinate and conduct utilization and performance reviews for stakeholders.

Requirements
• Minimum one (1) year of experience with databases and spreadsheets or continuous quality improvement (CQI) tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field AND Minimum two (2) years of experience in quality, performance improvement, customer service, or a related field OR Minimum five (5) years of experience in health care quality assurance/improvement or a directly related field.

• Knowledge of applied data analysis, quality improvement, development planning, agile methodologies, process mapping, project management, and risk assessment.

• Infection Prevention experience

• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Tableau, Clarity, and/or MIDAS experience

• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)

• Health care clinical license from the practicing/applicable state (e.g., Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Pharmacist (RPh), Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Social Worker)
